Overview
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT), abbreviated as ຍທຂ in Lao, is responsible for formulating policies, strategies, plans and legislation related to public works, roads, railways, waterways, civil aviation, housing, urban planning, water supply, and transport in the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
The Ministry oversees all infrastructure development, management of national and provincial road networks, bridge construction, transport regulation, and urban development across the country.
